Local update tracking

Keep the changes that matter in view.

Update Tracker watches pages and feeds that you configure, compares incremental results, and keeps new items organized in your browser.

The submitted build has no built-in third-party source directory. You choose and configure the pages or feeds.

Simple tracking, local records

Subscriptions

Track a keyword or prefix against a user-configured HTML or RSS source.

Incremental results

See what is new since the previous check and keep history in the browser.

Local organization

Save selected results to Chrome bookmarks and export JSON or CSV reports.

Designed for control

Does it browse sites in the background?

Checks run only for sources and schedules that you configure. Tab mode uses a temporary tab when a rendered page is needed.

Does it upload my bookmarks?

No. Bookmark and tracking records stay in Chrome storage in the submitted build.

Can I use my own source?

Yes. Add a user-authorized HTML/RSS or listing URL in Settings and grant access when prompted.
